The first 2 weeks after we brought Hyde home were a little unorganized, to say the least. I dont think anyone would expect otherwise. Coast was all over him, trying to pick him up to hold him all by himself, loosing his footing right by Hyde and almost falling right on him, trying to get Hyde interested in playing with toys, among many other things. Coast is just in love with his "Little Brother". They will be the best of friends.. I forget how tired you can get at night taking care of a new born baby. There were a couple of times that I literally lost my footing walking into the kitchen to warm up a bottle! However, these are just minor things. Nothing could influence me in the way I feel about my children. I would do it over and over and over again.. Hyde was super skinny and so little that NONE of his clothes would fit him, so I called him my little gangster baby. I dont know why, maybe someone can help answer this question for me, but my kids after about 3 weeks old loose their hair, I get so embarrassed (I am a hair stylist) that I just shave their heads. They look super cute though, dont be mad! Ha Ha. So these are just a few of the many photos I have of my little Hyde-ster.
Oh yeah! At his 2 week appt. Hyde had already gained over 1 pound! Wahoo
OHHHHH - they are so cute! My heart is just melting looking at them! Coast is going to love having a little brother around!
ReplyDeleteOK, both of our kids lost all their hair too. I was sad mostly with Colt because he had a sweet mohawk. It lasted for a good 3 or 4 months, so I thought we were safe, but it all ended up falling out. I think it's just the "baby hair" - since they have hair covering their whole body in the womb and lose most of it before they're born. So that usually falls out and their "real hair" grows in. So I can sympathize.
ReplyDeleteYeah Shana my girls loose theirs too by about that same time. Except the fringe around the edge so they look like little old men! Don't get me wrong they are beautiful girls:) but it grows back pretty fast! And luckily the hair bows cover it, I don't know what I would do with a boy....probably shave it too:) your boys are so dang cute maybe my girls future hubbys:) hehe
