Baby #2

I am now 20 weeks along in this 2nd pregnancy, and the time has literally just flown by. I guess when you have a 2 year old, there is just not as much time to sit and think about it! Both of my pregnancies have been identical to each other, no sickness, no aches or pains, I did faint a couple of times with both, but I really cant complain.
From the begining I had a feeling that I was having another boy, but recently I began having a fear that it was going to be a girl. Eventually down the road I would adore having a little girl that I could dress up and do girly things with, but at this point in my life, a little boy would be better all around.
#1- Coasten needs a brother, someone he can play super rough with and have the same interests, #2- On my side of the family there are only girls that are being produced by my beautiful sister and brother-in-law, Coast would be the odd man out, #3- Even though I am a hair stylist and love being girly, I feel like I play a better monster and steam roller than I do a princess, and finally #4- Financially I would have to start over and buy everything new because I own not one little girl thing, and most of Coastens items really are bran spankin new, I have everything!
Before we went to the Doc yesterday Nate told me that he thought it was a girl, and I panicked. Just to make myself feel better I said it was a boy.. All in all I just want a healthy baby, and I would adore any child that my Heavenly Father would send me, and entrust me with!
Coasten is proud to be the big brother to a little BOY....
I was right all along, Mothers intuition, I was right with Coast too. Nate and I are just completly thrilled, and cannot wait to see this little guy!
The doctor said that his heart looks GREAT, and every other organ and bone looks fabulous too, that is always a HUGE concern for Nate and I because of Nates Congenital Heart Disease. We are blessed...
PS. red hair will be gone in a couple weeks, I am ready to have Princess Ariel taken off of my forehead, and I want to feel like myself once again. Dont miss it too much. LOL

  3. I'm so excited for you guys! That will be so fun to have 2 little boys. I can't believe you're already half way there. That's the good thing about having another kid ... it keeps you busy and keeps your mind off it most of the time.
