Last Saturday Nate and I decided we needed to drop the boy off at Nana and Gramps, and go on a DATE! Dinner, dessert, a movie, a kiss at the end, the whole shebang! I am attached at the hip to Coasten, he is my little buddy. I am with him 24/7 so I had a hard time leaving him for a few hours! The last time we actually went on a date was over 9 months ago. I could have gotten pregnant again and delivered another new born baby in the amount of time it takes us to decide we need to go out just the 2 of us! So Nate and I went out to our favorite dating past time restruant, Porcupine Grill! Wonderful as always, I love that place. Then we went to the movie, The time travelers wife. Loved it, and cried the entire time (Nates a sensitive man, and I adore it). Its a movie that makes you think, and I am sure that the book with all of its detail would be a book worth reading. Hmmm I am going to have to work a little reading time into my already hectic schedule. Dates with your husband are definately necessary after children, its soo good to have time alone and focus on each other. We were ready to get Coasten and be with him afterward. Amen to needing to schedule date with the hubby, I swear they make a difference. P.S. The book the Time Traveler's wife is absolutely amazing maybe a little R rated but definitely worth reading!
