Hyde is going through this phase where he does not like to look at the camera, no matter how many times I make animal noises.. Moms, you know what I mean!
We were lucky enough to be at the right place at the right time. Coast had the opportunity to feed that sweet baby Cow.. Patiently waiting his turn

I've NEVER had a Funnel Cake before.. And we come every year! Classic staple for Fair food right? So I asked the man at the counter about the favorite, most requested cake and he gave me this............
9 dollars later... Can you believe that this was NINE dollars?! It probably weighed close to 5 pounds! Honestly,. not my FAV at all, we threw away more than half of it! I was happy that I finally tried one though. I have been wanting one ever since Chris Kirkpatrick from N'Sync asked his Grandma if she wanted one while at the Fair on MTV's All Access!! Yeah I was 14...

We had one superb time at the Fair, the ups: we had good weather, we went during the afternoon, kids were happy, rode the slide, ate something Fair-y, only cost us 20 bucks, GREAT people watching, and we had a BLAST..
On the downs: We had to leave kinda early to watch the Utah BYU Football game, I dislike Football, and my new Shirt from H&M was torn somehow! Ugh I hate when that happens!

So fun! Your kids are so dang cute! I went to the fair for the first time this year - how sad that I have never been before! I think we are going to make it a tradition like you guys do! And just FYI - Funnel Cake - I think its best with just powdered sugar and a little cinnamon and sugar sprinkled over it. We ate one at the fair and it was de-lish. The one you got does look a little crazy! But I seriously can't stand how cute your boys are! I think Jax would love hanging out with them! Too bad we are not in Utah :(
ReplyDeleteHow fun! It's nice that you guys get out and do things as a family. Your boys are going remember stuff like that. I'm with you on the funnel cakes, I'm not sure what the hype is about. Not my favorite!
