Independance Day

We had one packed day.. Woke up at 7 after not really getting a nights sleep AT ALL, thanks to an extremely excited 3 yr old. Headed over to meet my family and all of the Grand kids at the Murray parade, its so much fun to watch the kids have a great time.. Following the parade at 10:30, we went to Kaysville to meet up with Eric and Ashley for a relaxing remainder of our day spent at the home of the Hyers (E and A's good friends). We ate lunch at a Mexican joint, went to the Davis carnival where Coast became lethargic after spending some time playing around, and Hyde sat in a puddle of sweat in the stroller while getting Sun stroke (Ugh, I felt horrible... He did have his sippy cup in had and mouth the entire time. I just think he is not at all used to the heat). After some delish snow cones we were on our way back to the Hyers to strip the kids down, cool off, take some naps minus Hyde (that kid would not sleep, afraid he might miss out), play in the kiddie pool and soak each other with water guns. more relaxin after that, talking, eating, and laughing. Around 10:15 the fireworks began. We ditched out a little early to beat the traffic back to Salt Lake. We had a BLAST, but were exhausted from our FULL day and being up the entire night before! Love you America, keep having Birthdays so that we can celebrate!
PS.. The kids are fantastic btw, the Sun completely wore them out. they didnt actually have heat stroke!
