Easter

I always love this time of year, and I love the happiness and excitement that kids bring to Holidays. This Easter was madness for us to prepare for this year, both Nate and I had to teach the lesson along with getting all 2 dozen eggs colored and decorated and preparing some of the food to bring over to my In-Laws for dinner that evening! Church was great if you dont include the 3 year old TANTRUM my 1st born threw in Sacrament meeting while I was Husbandless and trying to contain a 5 1/2 month old too! I wanted to cry and run out of the building never to return.. After our block schedule is madness in itself, trying to get the kids fed and put down for naps all while I have eggs out to be colored and ready to go by 4. Finally I had to have Nate just take Coast and sleep with him while I played pre-school and decorated these eggs all by my lonesome, and prepared part of dinner.. Umm, and that nap that Coasten took was obviously not long enough because it was HELL getting out the door to go have dinner at Nana and Gramps.... All in all I am thankful for the Easter holiday, the kids had fun and that is all that matters, even if the parents end up angry and tired!! At least we managed to take a half happy picture of our family right?!

  1. WOW! Sounds like you were super busy. I don't know how you do it-two kids is A LOT of work. I say if you got the happy pic then the day was success. You'll never remember the rest. :)

I see you still have brown hair! Guess you left it for the family photos. Can't wait to see the new style in a couple months.

  4. It seems like all of my Sundays end up with the kids throwing fits, and me wanting to throw one. I guess that's life now?! Looks like you guys had a fun Easter anyways! Cutest boys ever!! Getaways with the hubby are a must, even if it's only for a night! Looks like you and Nate had a nice, relaxing time! Good for you!
