Christmas

Christmas morning was a blast this year. Coast was so much fun with his singing of every Christmas song known to man and his excitement about Santa and his Reindeer! After a horrible night of sleep for all 4 of us due to the children waking up at midnight, then again at 2, then again at 5, and finally up for the day at 7, we were so excited to run into the family room to see if Santa had come! Santa had come indeed and Coast unwrapped everything in a blink of an eye, only after he had checked to see if Santa had eaten his cookie and drank his milk.. Oh yeah the Reindeer ate their carrots too! Coasten had been wanting a guitar just like his Dads for some time now, so we knew that Santa has to get him his very own acoustic guitar so he could jam with his Dad! I got on-line and found the cutest little guitar on Overstock that seriously is nearly identical to Nates. Needless to say Coasten loved it and never left it out of his sight.. Jingle bells for the rest of the day!!! Lol... Hyde slept through the whole thing in his swing, awe such a sweet little thing! I made a breakfast of cinnamon roll french toast, home style potatoes and sausage! Yum, however it didnt quite beat Booger-mushy (a family tradition for Christmas morning and General Conference. Its in German and never could say correctly). After our morning spent as a family we got ready and went to my parents, then spent the late afternoon into the night with Nates side of the family!
We had a spectacular Christmas this year and were truly blessed. I cant wait to spend this Summer sitting on the beach with the entire Smith family, thanks Scott and Lisa for another Smith family vacation, they have always created the fondest memmories that we continue to talk about today!! Cant wait for August.. MERRY CHRISTMAS

  1. Looks like you guys had a great Christmas! Your boys looks so cute in their green outfits. I've never heard of booger-mushy but cinnamon roll french toast sounds amazing!

Where did you get your Christmas tree? It's exactly what I want. My place is too small for a big tree so I just wants something small & skinny.
