Sadly, at two weeks old Coasten was taken to Primary Childrens Hospital for a fever! We still to this day are not sure if it was due to my fever while I was in labor! NOTHING in my life was as hard as watching and listening to my child screaming and crying while having a spinal tap. Luckly after a lot of tears and prayers, Coasten was released 36 hours later with no signs of meningitis!
