I serve as the Young Women 1st Counselor in my ward, and its so much fun! For an activity a week or so ago we went ice skating. Not many of you know that I was a figure skater when I was younger, so this activity was right up my alley (or so I thought)! After skating around the rink a few good times I started to get the hang of it again, it had been a good 10 years since I was last on the ice! Its funny and kind of strange how after years, and years, and years it just comes back to you. Next time I'll try the jumps..... (From left Pres. Linda, Shivonne, Kayla, and myself)
Shan! You were an ice skater? That is funny. I would have never guessed. Cool though... I don't think I would have the coordination.
ReplyDeleteI remember you were an ice skater... I thought it was so cool! Whenever we would go, you would whip out turns and stuff. I'm sure you can still whip that fancy stuff out!
